Raytown at Lee’s Summit (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
A good one here finding Raytown traveling the short distance to Lee’s Summit to tangle with the Tigers. Raytown enters at 3-3 after back to back losses. The Tigers also have a 2 game losing streak sitting at 2-4. This one will be good for a while, but in the end the Tigers will show there is a difference between a class 6 and a class 5 team.
Lee’s Summit North at Liberty North (Jake’s Take)
A battle of two-loss teams finds LS North traveling up to Liberty North. Both teams look evenly matched. In a game that could go either way I’m trusting that Coach Mozee and the Broncos find a way to get a win. Final, LS North – 35, Liberty North – 31.
Lee’s Summit West at Blue Springs
The LS West Titans are flying high after home wins over top-ranked Ray Pec and Rockhurst. Now a road trip to Blue Springs at 2-4 who came close to winning at LS North just last week. The Titans may find it tough to get there but they will get the win they seek on this Friday Night.
KC Southeast at St. Michael (Homecoming game played at LS North)
It’s time to celebrate homecoming for St. Michaels but also need to celebrate the Guardians two game winning streak. Can they make it three with a win over the 3-3 Southeast Knights? I think they can so expect a .500 record for SMA when this one is over.
Summit Christian at Van Horn (Game played at William Chrisman)
Does it get any better than this…a battle between two 4-2 teams who are used to narrow wins in this series? Expect another close one this year with the Eagles returning home to Lee’s Summit celebrating a victory.
Columbia Hickman at Ray-Pec
Ray Pec is one of the best teams on the west side of the state and will show it again on this night with a home victory over the Hickman Kewpies.
Fort Osage at Blue Springs South
It’s been a tough year for both of these teams who are used to success and post-season runs. The Jaguars at 0-6 will claim their first victory of 2020 with a close win over 1-5 Fort Osage.
Kearney at Ray South (Game canceled)
The Raytown South Cardinals next scheduled game is at Platte County on Friday, Oct. 16th.
Las Vegas Raiders at KC Chiefs (Celebrity Forecaster Aaron Ladd – KSHB TV41 sports)
The KC Chiefs enter week five with plenty of question marks. Most of them off the field relating to Covid-19 and possible postponements. On the field it’s another AFC West match up for Patrick Mahomes who has owned the division since becoming a starter. Las Vegas playmakers enter the match up banged up and KC will surely take advantage and win by at least 10 points.
