Liberty North at Lee’s Summit West (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
A terrific match up with the Titans coming in off from a tough road loss at Blue Springs. Liberty North comes to LS after a come from behind win vs LS North on their home field. An entertaining game that will come down to a win by a single score by the home team. Titans take this one on this night.
Park Hill South at Lee’s Summit (Jake’s Take)
This match up finds two teams headed in the opposite direction. Park Hill South comes in having won 4 in a row, while Lee’s Summit has lost their last three. I’m predicting these trends to continue. Final score, Park Hill South – 31, Lee’s Summit – 21.
Lee’s Summit North at Park Hill
After losing to a pair of teams from Liberty Park Hill hosts a team from Lee’s Summit, a team of Broncos bruised from a loss last week. The Broncos speed will be on full display and will prove to be the difference as they return to the victory at the Trojans expense.
Palmyra vs Summit Christian (Game played at 1p in Chillicothe)
The Eagles were planning on hosting Senior Night activities this week on their home field but instead will travel 90 minutes away from home to play the Panthers on a neutral field. Neither team had much time to prepare for this game that wasn’t scheduled till Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles meet a team undefeated at 7-0 and will stay that way as the Eagles fall to 5-3 after this one.
Ray-Pec at Liberty
A big one here with capital letters as the one time number one ranked Panthers at 6-1 travel up north to play the 7-0 Blue Jays. The lone loss for Ray Pec was a road game at LS West, when this one is done the Panthers will have another road loss as Liberty wins again.
Blue Springs at Blue Springs South
Both teams enter this rivalry game coming in off from wins. They have been hard to come by for each team as the host Jaguars are 1-6 while the visiting Wildcats are 3-4. A close contest here but it’s the Wildcats who will get the win and claim bragging rights.
Ray South at Platte County (Saturday at 1pm)
The Ray South Cardinals had last week off and that extra time to prepare for the 6-1 Pirates was needed. The extra week will prove to be not enough as the Cards drop a road game when this one is done.
St. Michael at Labette County (KS)
The red hot Guardians winners of three straight have already traveled to Pittsburg, KS this season and will travel farther to play this one. The lengthy road trip will prove to be a fun one as the winning streak continues for the Guardians this week.
Grain Valley at Raytown
The Raytown Blue Jays come home after an impressive road win a week ago at Lee’s Summit. Problem is the home crowd will see the Blue Jays take on the task of beating the 7-0 Eagles from Grain Valley. The task will prove too tall for them as The Eagles remain undefeated when the scoreboard hits all zeros.
