Springfield Kickapoo at LS West (Friday Night Lights Tour Stop)
The Chiefs of Kickapoo come to Lee’s Summit to play the Titans who are the #3 seed in District 4 playoffs. The Titans are feeling good after winning 21-7 last week over rival LS North. The Titans have beaten both Rockhurst and top seed Ray-Pec at Titan Stadium this season, now will add the Chiefs to that list.
Lee’s Summit at Ray-Pec
The Tigers open post season play at top seed Ray-Pec. The Tigers lost two weeks ago by 3, then last week by 7 points. Tigers are playing well as the tackle the challenge of the Panthers who was upset a week ago on their home field. The Tigers will come close again but when it’s done the Tigers 2020 season will have come to an end.
LS North at Nixa (Game Canceled)
Pleasant Hill at Summit Christian
A Class 3 match up that is pretty sweet like Halloween candy. The Eagles step up in class this year and get the Roosters up first in the playoffs. Pleasant Hill has been playing well as of late but when this one wraps up it’s the Eagles who enjoy the taste of victory in front of their home fans.
Versailles at St. Michael’s (Game played at LS North)
The Guardians get a home playoff game after winning 4 out of their last 5 games of the season. The surging Guardians open up against winless Versailles. Expect the Guardians who are feeling good about themselves feel even better with a home playoff win on this night.
Park Hill at Blue Springs
In a pairing of two 4-5 teams this game finds the #4 seeded Wildcats hosting the #5 seeded Trojans. Park Hill has upset Ray Pec last week and beaten LS North the week before that. The Trojans enter this game a hot team but the Wildcats will ensure no more surprises and wins this close contest.
Blue Springs South at Liberty
The Jaguars face a tall task as they head north to face the top seeded Liberty Blue Jays. The Jags are playing better now but not well enough to pull off an upset in this one. Jags season comes to an end this week.
Sedalia at Raytown
The Raytown Blue Jays finished the regular season at 6-3 and now host their first playoff game at their renovated stadium. The Tigers of Smith Cotton come to town in hopes of pulling an upset. The Blue Jays will deny that bid thanks to a speedy offense will run to another win.
Ray South at Grandview
The Ray South Cardinals put 30 points on the board last week and came close to a win. The Bulldogs ended a two week layoff last week with a 4 point loss to Oak Park. This one will be close for a while but expect Grandview to enjoy a post-season win when the clock hits all zeroes.
