The weekend of October 31, 2020, Jackson Thompson, 15, of Lee’s Summit, participated in the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Youth Early Portion Firearms Deer Season. A first-time deer hunter, Jackson harvested his first doe on the second day of the season during a mentored hunt with Chris Pigue in Cass County, Missouri.
