Dr. Brett Jacobs, the assistant principal and athletic director at Bernard Campbell Middle School in the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District, received the Middle School Athletic Director of the Year Award from the Kansas City Interscholastic Administrators Association (KCIAA).

With his peers choosing him for the award, Dr. Jacobs is the first recipient of the honor. The award recognizes his excellent leadership qualities, work ethic and communication skills.
