The always popular Super Bowl Sunday takes on a whole new meaning when the hometown team is playing in the BIG game. The Kansas City Chiefs play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl 55 on CBS with kick off at 5:30 p.m.

Downtown Lee’s Summit is offering football fans plenty of options to enhance their game day fun whether it take place at home or inside a Downtown business.

Third Street Social is closing at 3 p.m. on Sunday but offering many choices for curbside pickup open until 5 p.m. Family platters, sides and meals are among the items being offered to fans.

Konrad’s Tap House looks forward to hosting fans throughout the day and tables for your group can be reserved by e-mailing your info to mary@konradskc.com.

Grains & Taps will be open Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. offering to go beer. Customers can also purchase a Crowler and get a Crowler free of the popular Jet Chip Wasp. There is a limit of six free Crowlers. Food options include BOGO Pizzas.

Hand In Glove will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offering to go drinks for your at-home celebrations.

Arcade Alley has games for fans to play while watching the big game and half price drinks after 5 p.m.

Stuey McBrews, normally closed on Sundays, will be open to greet football fans starting at 4 p.m.

Fringe Beerworks, open from noon to 10 p.m., will have happy hour prices during the game and selling all day Crowlers at normal Sunday special prices. The BIG game will be on in the back room on a projector with the sound on. Red or Gold as well as a Red/Gold Combo Slushies will be on sale.

Llywelyn’s Pub will have prize giveaways during halftime of the BIG game. Chiefs swag such as hats, scarves and more can be yours with a raffle ticket to enter. Raffle tickets are available with a special purchase, see the bar for further details. Other prizes to win are coolers, lawn chairs and other related tailgate items.
