Shack Breakfast & Lunch, a fast-growing breakfast and lunch eatery based in the Midwest, will open its fourth Kansas City-area location in Lee’s Summit’s Summit Fair at 860 Northwest Blue Parkway in the former Big Whiskey’s location. The new Shack is now hiring for an early June opening.

The modern space will feature rustic wood finishes highlighted by chandeliers and vibrant colors, along with wood walls where guests can leave their mark with writings. The nearly 7,000 square-foot space will seat around 300 guests that includes bar seating, as well as an outdoor roofed patio that will seat around 40 guests.

Shack recently launched new menu items across all of its locations, including the ‘Thin Mint Boozie Shake’.

Shack features quirky menu items, such as I Wish I Was a Little Bit Taller (braised short ribs, white cheddar, crispy fried onions, horsey sauce and green onions omelet) and Make A Grown Man Cry (breakfast burrito stuffed with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and onions served on a bed of crispy hash browns and topped with house-made queso and salsa fresca). In addition, guests can enjoy an extensive gluten-free menu featuring pancakes, breakfast skillets and build-your-own omelets.

The restaurant features “Boozie Shakes”, wine and beer, along with signature cocktails and award-winning Bloody Mary’s. Shack is open 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. daily, with breakfast served all day, every day and lunch served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday through Saturday

Shack hosted a hiring event this week seeking 30 team members for its new Lee’s Summit location with open interviews for all positions. For the most up-to-date information, visit www.eatatshack.com or engage on social media at facebook.com/eatatshack or @eatatshack on Twitter and Instagram.
