Summit Christian Academy is pleased to announce the Class of 2021 Summa Cum Laude recipients: Camille Anderson and Ashlyn Steller.
To achieve SCA’s highest academic honor, students must have been at SCA for four consecutive semesters, demonstrate a transcript of 30 credit hours, have taken four years of high school science and four years of high school math, attend school at least seven hours during their senior year, and have no academic modifications in achieving a cumulative percentage that is in the top 5% of their class.
“The Summa Cum Laude students are tremendous representatives of what SCA holds at its core,” shared SCA Secondary Principal Joe Hesman. “They are both young ladies that love the Lord with all of their heart, they are academically excellent and achieve to a very high standard and they are such compassionate women that love others and desire to serve them!
When I think of the SCA Mission statement: ‘To inspire students to achieve their God-given potential through excellent academics and Christian training in a compassionate environment’, I believe that these two amazing young women are the living proof of that mission statement! Congratulations Camille and Ashlyn! May you continue to allow God to use you greatly and to influence the world around you for Christ!”
Camille and Ashlyn were recognized at the All School Assembly and were key speakers at the SCA Class of 2021 Commencement Ceremony. SCA’s Class of 2021 had 47 graduates who were awarded over $3 million in scholarship offers.
