Kids ages 5–12 of Evergy customers are invited to create original artwork about electrical safety for the chance to win a $200 gift card and have their drawing featured on a local billboard.

The company says that safety is essential to all they do at Evergy. They are asking for help to spread the word—and shine a spotlight on safety across the communities they serve.

To enter create a drawing based on one of these electrical safety themes:

Don’t mix water and electricity.
Stay away from downed power lines.
Don’t overload outlets.
Always call before you dig.
Don’t fly a kite near overhead lines.
Look up and out for power lines before climbing a tree.
Make sure power cords are tucked away to prevent falls.
Don’t play near electrical equipment.
