The Kansas City Mavericks are entering the final month of the 2021-22 regular season and the Mavs are happy to have Mikael Robidoux on board for the final group of games.

Robi, as his teammates call him, is enjoying his second season in pro hockey. Last season Mikael spent half the year playing for the Maine Mariners. The soon to be 23 year old forward shoots right handed and wears the popular jersey number of 32.

Robi’s favorite pro sports team is an individual in Tiger Woods. He likes the pro golfer a lot due to the adversity Woods has overcome in his playing career. Mikael’s home town is LaPrairie, Quebec, Canada. His mom, dad and two sisters root him on from home.

Robi’s favorite hockey memory so far was his first goal scored when as a member of his junior hockey team. He scored a goal at the age of 16 in front of over 20,000 fans in a filled arena located in Quebec City.

Mikael’s favorite website to visit each day is YouTube to check for hockey highlights. If not in pro hockey today Robi feels he would be back in his hometown working in real estate. Mikael’s favorite food is a good steak.

Robi’s favorite sports movie is “Slapshot” and he admits to watching it on the team bus during a recent Mavs road trip. Following his playing days Mikael wishes to be remembered as a guy who leaves everything on the ice every time he touches it.

Check out Robi when he and the rest of the Mavericks hit home ice on Saturday, Apr. 2 to host their rival Wichita Thunder. The fun inside Cable Dahmer Arena begins when the puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
