Have you lost a loved one or a job? Have you moved or found yourself grieving the losses in making life transitions? Grief is a part of all of our lives, and it is essential for us to find healthy ways of walking through its many stages.

Longview Chapel Christian Church will explore “Good Grief” by Granger E. Westberg and share the collective wisdom together, Tuesdays, Sept. 13, 20 & 27 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at 850 SW Longview Road in Lee’s Summit, MO.

Timothy Johnson, MD comments on Westberg’s work, “This gem is written with the heart of a pastor, the insight of a psychologist, the humanity of a father and husband, and the hope of someone who has seen so many survive the process of grieving. It is simple but not simplistic. It is profound but not professional. Most importantly, it describes the pathway through grieving that can be found only through honesty. This is a book that should be in the hands of anyone grieving for any reason.”

There is no charge for this workshop. However, preregistration is requested to help be prepared for you. Register at www.longviewchapelcc.org on their home page, call 816-763-6290 or email office@longviewchapelcc.org.
