The Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation is presenting a Rise and Shine Community Breakfast on Friday, Sep. 16 from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at East Trails Middle School located at 1001 SE Bailey Road in Lee’s Summit.

Help kick off the 2022-23 school year with student performances, a district update from Dr. David Buck, keynote speaker Donnie Campbell the LSR7 teach and former coach who was the inspiration behind Jason Sudeikis’ character in the show “Ted Lasso,” updates from the Lee’s Summit Education Foundation, and guided tours of the school.
