The History Museum General Store has added water color prints of scenes in downtown Lee’s Summit for sale.

The prints are by local artist Beth Martens. Beth also created the heart painting that is located across the street from the museum at the Amtrak Station.

The History Museum has also added a new temporary exhibit on Harry Truman’s early ties to Lee’s Summit.

Located at 220 SW Main Street, the museum is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During Oktoberfest, September 22nd through 24th, the museum will be closed.
