The next performance by the Lee’s Summit Symphony will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 at The Pavilion at John Knox Village located at 520 NW Murray Rd. in Lee’s Summit.

Halloween is near. Under Kirt Mosier’s direction, the orchestra will perform pieces that will fully transport you from summer to moody, spooky fall. Enjoy pieces such as: Night on Bald Mountain — Modest Mussorgsky, Danse Macabre, Op. 40 — Camille Saint-Saëns, Ritual Fire Dance — Manuel de Falla, RUN! — composed by the Symphony’s own Kirt Mosier, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – Suite — John Williams, and many more.

Tickets may be purchased online at lssymphony.org/tickets or at either Lee’s Summit Hy-Vee and at Price Chopper at Raintree Lake and Lakewood. This concert is suitable for all ages and youth Pre-K through sixth grade get in free with an adult paid admission. Student tickets (7th grade through college) are available at the door or online. Doors open at 6 p.m. There will be a cash bar. The performance begins at 7 p.m.
