Lee’s Summit North will be host to a new event for the Lee’s Summit School District when the LSR7 High School Girls Flag Football Showcase kicks off on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Broncos Stadium will be the site of an NFL Kick Off program hosted by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Not only will girls be introduced to the sport of flag football but a number of Chiefs ambassadors will on site to help out. The Chiefs Ambassadors is an organization of former Chiefs players. A number of area college players will be on hand to assist as event attendees will be going through a number of drills and testing skills.

To enhance the number of participants LS West is planning on providing transportation for those interested to LS North for this event. For more information on this upcoming event contact the Athletic/Activities office at any of the three LSR7 high schools.
