Boys and girls cross country teams from St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School competed last week in the Class 3 state championships.

By just two points, the boys were able to bring home the first team state title in St. Michael history.

All-state runners were Johnny Joyce who placed 20th and Jack Tittle who placed 23rd.

The girls team had a strong showing as well placing sixth in competition.

Elsa Henry was an All-state runner with a fourth place finish.
