Lee’s Summit West High School held a letter of intent signing ceremony this week for 12 student athletes.

Logan Bishop will be playing basketball at Avila University and majoring in law.

Soccer player Reese Cannon will attend Maryville University in St. Louis with an undeclared major.

Miles Heckadon will also be playing soccer at Wingate University in North Carolina while studying biochemistry.

Cadence Huffman will be playing basketball at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, KS majoring in nursing.

Will La Voi is headed to Ottawa University to play baseball with an undeclared major.

Ana Lewis will be diving for Drury University while studying accounting.

Emily Mathis intends to play volleyball at MidAmerica Nazarene University with a major in nursing.

Makayla Myers is headed to Evangel University in Springfield, MO to play soccer and study sports management.

Mia Myers-Ray will be competing in volleyball and track & field at Rust College in Holly Springs, MS majoring in biology/pre-medicine.

Softball player Kyrsten Pauley will be attending Hesston College in Hesston, KS to study aviation.

Kamryn Sariah will be competing in softball and track & field at Rust College in Holly Springs, MS majoring in sports management.

Basketball player Chaz Watson will be attending Cleveland State University with an undeclared major.
