Just in time for football season the Lee’s Summit History Museum has new prints of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce for sale in the museum’s general store. These prints are by local artist Beth Martens. Individual prints of Mahomes and Kelce are available as well as prints of them together.
A Smithsonian Exhibit on the 55th anniversary of the First Moon Walk — Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission remains on display at the museum through the end of October. This exhibit plus updated local historical exhibits are included in the $5 admission charge. Members and children 12 and under are free.
The History Museum is located at 220 SW Main Street on the west side of the Amtrak station in downtown Lee’s Summit. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
