Did you know Iron Horse Bar and Grill recently completed renovations to their interior dining space?

Did you know the plans don’t end there?

Within the coming months, owner Jeffrey Dietrich plans to add a 2,300-square-foot addition to house a private event space that will serve 75-100 and include a buffet line within to host corporate events and private parties.

Jeff also plans to create something Lee’s Summit hasn’t yet seen — a 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio space with a stage and tiered seating with a bar and restroom block to serve it.

“It will probably be the best patio in the metro, and I’m being very modest to that because it’s all Jeff’s vision,” said Sam Collins of Collins | Webb Architecture.

Jeff also plans to add a sober drink line to their menu called, “Sober Sips,” allowing customers to enjoy the mood-altering effects of drinks without partaking in the adverse alcohol effects.

Jeff’s vision all along has been to continue to pour back into the community he loves so dearly, and to the partnerships he’s forged with local community partners like Collins | Webb Architecture, Fossil Forge Design, Spilker McKeone & Nelson PC and so many other Chamber members.

“I don’t care about money at my age,” Jeff said. “I want to build something really cool for the city; that’s what’s most important to me.”
