The flood issue is causing havoc at the Kansas city treatment plant. They are handling it.

Last night Kansas City Water had a bad water sample, but that sample (I am told) was determined to be a treatment technique so no advisory is given. Their water is safe to drink, and MO DNR agrees.

I have been in contact with Mike Klender their plant manager, and as of 2:47 pm their water is still good.

However, out of an abundance of caution I have instructed, and Bruce agreed, to shut off KCMO water.

Independence water is now the only water PWSD#2 is buying.
