The National Society United States Daughters of 1812 James Kearney Chapter, which meets locally, presented JROTC awards to three area high schools.

Cadet Dalton Siebenaler from Blue Springs South was presented his medal by USD1812 member, Cathy Little.

Julie Thomas, Chapter President, presented the award at Lee’s Summit High School to Cadet Major Tyler Tindall.

An award was also presented at East High School to Danika Vega Carillo.
