On the third Tuesday of every month, Lee’s Summit CARES assists with creating a Community Conversation with experts in various topic areas.

This month the conversation will take place on July 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mid-Continent Public Library and will be free to attend.

For July, the conversation will be held with Debra Huwar of the Missouri Department of Transportation. Now that it’s officially summer, traffic and road work are both becoming more frequent. Travel shouldn’t have to be dangerous. MoDOT is going to provide attendees with some information and statistics so everyone can arrive safely to their summer fun.
