The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce recently partnered with the Independence Chamber to celebrate TNC Community’s ribbon cutting. Located at 17601 E US Hwy. 40 Suite A, Independence, MO and founded in 1949 as the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, later becoming the Harry S. Truman Children’s Neurological Center and now known as TNC Community, they are a nonprofit supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Kansas City. TNC offers habilitation services and independent living support, with a focus on empowerment and inclusion.
