Mayor Baird issued a proclamation declaring October 2024 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, to bring attention to the epidemic of domestic violence and honor victims and survivors. Domestic violence affects every community with devastating consequences and by working together, people can increase awareness, support survivors and promote healthy relationships.
