Mayor Baird issued a proclamation declaring Sept. 28 to Oct. 4 as Missouri Good Neighbor Week. Signed into law in 2022, Missouri Good Neighbor Week encourages citizens of Missouri to participate in events and activities to establish connections with their neighbors. Studies have shown that developing positive neighbor relationships impacts mental health, life expectancy and physical health.
