Members and guests are invited to the Friday, June 9th membership meeting at the History Museum. A presentation on the Quindaro Historic Site and Underground Railroad will be shared by Lucinda Adams, Executive Director of Freedom’s Frontier National Heritage Area and Holly Zane, Associate Director.

The meeting will be held Friday, June 9th, at 6:30 p.m. at the History Museum located at 220 SW Main Street in downtown Lee’s Summit.

A new exhibit from the History Museum has also been created and installed in the lobby of the Police Station on North Douglas. This exhibit includes pictures and artifacts from the museum’s collection, highlighting some history of our Police Department. The lobby display is open to the public during normal business hours.
