Downtown Lee’s Summit will be filled with local artists Thursday, November 16 as middle and high school students work to create murals to help encourage holiday shopping at local businesses.

This is the second year LSR7 is doing this Small Business Saturday painting project and more schools are participating because of the overwhelmingly positive response from students and the community.

This is a client-connected project that offers a real world experience for our students and benefits the community. Students working downtown had to submit their ideas, get feedback from their clients, local business owners, and organize their team to pull off the design idea.
