December 16 at 3 p.m., doors open at 2pm, cash bar It’s the most wonderful time of the year — the Lee’s Summit Symphony’s annual holiday concert. Join Music Director Kirt Mosier and the 100 musicians of the Lee’s Summit Symphony on December 16 at 3pm, (doors open at 2 p.m., cash bar) for their highly anticipated Holiday Radio Show, sponsored by John Knox Village. In this 20th anniversary season, you’ll step back in time to an old-time holiday radio show where they’ll tune the dial to ELF 93.1 FM. You’ll hear some of our most familiar holiday music, combined with a few surprises along the way. The show features the LSSO Radio Singers (with some familiar faces to many) and fan favorite, Festus McSchacklewonder, will delight you with his harmonica.
The program includes “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Winter Wonderland,” “White Christmas,” “Twisted Christmas” by our own Sara Wenger and Seth May-Patterson, “Jingling of the Bells” by Kirt Mosier and so many more.
