On Friday, Oct. 11, Lee’s Summit West High School and Titan Legacy (a community service based club) are putting on a First Responders Appreciation Night at the home football game against Staley High School. The Titans will take on the Falcons starting at 7 p.m.

Before the game, there will be different ways to honor first responders, such as through various vehicles, flags, and announcements. At halftime of the football game, Titan Legacy and Lee’s Summit West High School will present one first responder with the game ball and name them the Hometown Hero.
