Lee’s Summit West High School held a letter of intent signing ceremony this week for 16 student athletes.

Jackson Akin will be playing basketball at Oklahoma University and majoring in aerospace engineering.

Baseball player Garrett Anderson will attend Drury University with business major and a minor in Asian studies.

Zoey Barnes will be playing volleyball at Loyola University while majoring in music industry studies.

Bella Bishop will also be playing volleyball at Howard University majoring in criminolory/sociology.

Hannah Borgstadt is headed to the University off Central Missouri to play soccer with an undeclared major.

Piper Costello will be playing softball for State Fair Community College while studying graphic design.

Ayden Katzberg intends to play baseball at St. Charles Community College with a major in engineering.

Presley McMichael is headed to the University of North Alabama to play soccer and study occupational therapy.

Caden Pollo will be playing baseball at Mid-America Nazarene University majoring in business.

Baseball player Cole Reckart will be attending Missouri Western State University to study biochemistry and molecular biology.

Jake Riggin will be playing in baseball at Arkansas State University majoring in finance.

Baseball player Gage Rold will be attending State Fair Community College majoring in business.

Rocco Rollins will be playing baseball at Virginia Wesleyan University and majoring in sports management.

Missouri State University welcomed Addy Rozycki. She will be playing soccer while studying business.

Softball player Addy Waits will be attending the University of Missouri with an undeclared major.

Tyler Wood plans to attend the University of Tennessee-Knoxville to play baseball while studying sports management.
