Raytown MO- The victim from the overnight shooting in the 5600 block of Crescent Ave has died from his injuries. He has been identified as Phillip James, 28 years of age, of Kansas City, Missouri.

The identity of the second victim is not being released at this time, but he remains in stable condition.

At about 10:37 P.M., Wednesday night (October 23, 2019) Raytown Police Officers were called to the area of 5600 block of Crescent Ave regarding shots fired.

Upon the officers’ arrival, they found two gunshot victims at the residence, both adult males. Both victims were transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries. Detectives responded and the investigation continues.
