At the October 27, City Council meeting, Mayor Bill Baird issued the following proclamation:

Attending the proclamation event were John McDonald, CEO of HCA Midwest Health (Feed Lee’s Summit Signature Sponsor), Roberta McArthur of One Good Meal, Susie Newsome of Meals on Wheels, Monica Humbard of Coldwater, Matt Sanning of Lee’s Summit Social Services and Carl Froeschle, Chairman of Feed Lee’s Summit. Feed Lee’s Summit is an annual event sponsored by the Lee’s Summit Sunrise Rotary Club for the purpose of raising funds for the above-mentioned food pantries in Lee’s Summit. Feed Lee’s Summit is scheduled on November 12, 2020, at 7 p.m., as a virtual event. Details for participating can be found at www.feedls.org.
