Missouri is expected to experience a mixed bag of wintry conditions throughout Monday and into Tuesday morning.  The weather will vary from a possibility of freezing rain and snow in the northern portion of the state to freezing drizzle and rain in the central and southern areas to flooding in the Bootheel. The biggest potential for hazardous driving conditions comes from overnight refreezing on wet roads.

Motorists can stay informed of the latest road conditions by consulting MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map, available online at www.modot.org, or through MoDOT’s smartphone app, available for iPhone and Android phones. The map offers continuously updated views of road conditions for Missouri interstates and highways. You can zoom in to a particular location, check live weather radar, and view images from MoDOT’s traffic cameras and message boards.
