During the annual Downtown Lee’s Summit tree lighting event from 6-8 p.m. on November 20, Wedding Expressions by Geri will celebrate their ninth anniversary with live mannequins in the windows.

This has become an annual tradition every year since they opened in 2011. Even though the event will be a little different this year, the businesses on the west side of the tracks are planning a fun opportunity for families to enjoy Christmas.

Owner Geri Watts has over 25 years in the bridal and floral business and provides a full service bridal salon that allows wedding couples from all over to coordinate all the bridal attire to the wedding palette. They feature all the latest styles and colors of bridal and bridesmaids’ gowns by leading designers at affordable prices.

The groom and his groomsmen can find all the latest in rental or purchase tuxedos and suits starting with basic black tuxedos up to designer styles from Michael Kors, Ike Behar, and Allure Men. Matching wedding colors for ties and vests is never a problem with the hundreds of colors available. They also serve wedding parties that have out of town groomsmen by a direct ship to their home.

During prom season they are a popular destination for choosing the latest in styles and colors of gowns and tuxedos.
