Sydney Smith, age 11, Lone Jack, has begun a donation campaign for the Pleasant Hill Animal Shelter as an ongoing community involvement project. She calls it “Sydney 4 Dogs.”

As she accumulates items, she and her family will donate them several times per year. She has partnered with First Federal Bank of Kansas City, Sedrick Woods and Spiffy in a Jiffy Junk Removal, Pawsperity, Connie Okorn and You Name !t Custom Apparel & Printing.

Pleasant Hill Animal Shelter accepts items for any pet animal species as they also distribute to other local shelters and rescues. Example items needed: pet supplies, pet food, money donations, towels, toys, equipment, beds, cages, tac, rope/leashes/collars, medical supplies, feeding containers, buckets, etc. Any usable item can be utilized.
