The Lee’s Summit History Museum’s newest temporary exhibit highlights political memorabilia through the years.
Did you know the first use of metal pins was for George Washington’s inauguration in 1789 when supporters wore “Long Live the President” along with his initials?
During this election year you can view some local and national memorabilia at the History Museum. The museum is located at 220 SW Main Street and is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
