Jack Ray VFW Post 5789 & Auxiliary will commemorate POW/MIA Recognition Day on 15 September 2023 to honor those who were held captive and returned, as well as those who remain missing from past conflicts.

The following events will take place: 5:00 pm ceremony at the All Veterans Memorial in William B. Howard Station Park in Lee’s Summit followed by a Missing Man table ceremony and free lasagna dinner around 5:30 pm at the Post home, located at 329 SE Douglas Street. All are welcome to attend.
