Individuals interested in launching new high-demand careers are invited to learn about training and scholarship opportunities at an Oct. 29 professional training and education open house hosted by the University of Central Missouri in cooperation with the Full Employment Council (FEC). The free events are held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month at the Missouri Innovation Campus. More information is available on UCM’s website.

Representatives from the FEC are at each event to assist with applications for debt-free training. The FEC serves the following counties: Jackson, Cass, Clay, Platte and Ray. The open house events also include information about UCM admissions, advisement, financial aid and KC Degrees.

NOTE: UCM Lee’s Summit will not host November and December open-house events due to the winter holidays. The monthly events will resume Jan. 28.
