Join the Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation Saturday, Oct. 12 for a morning of fitness, food, fun and fundraising to support LSR7 teachers, students and programs.

The event kicks off at 7:30 a.m. at the Lee’s Summit West High School Activity Complex, located at 2600 SW Ward Road, with registration and warm-ups. The 5k has an 8 a.m. start and the Kids Dash Fun Run kicks off at 9 a.m.

The top three schools with highest participation will receive grants up to $1,000. Returning this year is the Kids Zone, which will feature booths offering free games, giveaways and activities. Breakfast refreshments will be provided.
