Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week takes place the last full week of April each year, and is a time to recognize, appreciate, and advocate staff who work with students during out-of-school hours.

Special thanks go out to the wonderful staff of the Great Expectations Before and After School program, who day in and day out work to provide wonderful experiences to all student participants.

G.E. is provided at all elementary schools on academic school days. The students engage in educational and entertaining activities with large group active supervision.

These are just a few photos of the wonderful activities that happen during G.E., with activities that include sensory zones for students, programs such as chess clubs, and themed days such as PJ Party days.
