Raytown Mayor Mike McDonough will present his sixth annual State of the City Address at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 23.
This event is hosted by the Raytown Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and will be held at Connection Point Church, 10500 E 350 Hwy. The public is encouraged to attend.
“Working Together” is this year’s theme. McDonough will highlight the City’s accomplishments that include park upgrades, the opening of the Rock Island Trail, the City’s first public art sculpture and the many new businesses that have opened as well as where the City is headed.
“As Mayor, I am an ambassador not only for City Hall but for the entire City of Raytown and all that it represents,” said McDonough. “Working together with community leaders, the Board of Aldermen on behalf of citizens to make Raytown a thriving destination that offers opportunities for safe and healthy living, successfully diverse and a great place to call home is our vision and call to action for all that live here.”
