Raytown Officers responded to the intersection of East 59 Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard at about 7:07 a.m. Tuesday morning, (08-27-19), in response to a reported disturbance.

Several witnesses reported that a man was beating a woman. Officers arrived and found that the man had assaulted a woman after a road rage incident. The woman suffered head injuries. The woman was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The man was arrested at the scene and is still in custody.
