The Raytown Schools PTA Council is looking for nominations for council members for the 2021-2022 school year.

The PTA is a group of involved parents and a liaison between and Raytown school district administration. They help and train local PTAs in the district; provide three scholarships to Raytown seniors; provide informational unit meetings open to all families in the district; and plan, organize and provide STEM in the Gym.

Positions open are:
President – responsible for coordinating and guiding meetings; serving as a liaison with Missouri State PTA; and offering training to units

Vice President(s) – ideally two people; one to help plan programs and STEM; one to help plan fundraising

Secretary – responsible for recording meeting minutes; corresponding and keeping a current roster of the local PTA unit; and submission of officers form

Treasurer – responsible for all financial record keeping; submission of Missouri state paperwork, IRS tax form and dues
