So what happens when people find six friends, name themselves, pack snacks to share, and compete against other groups answering trivial questions? A whole lot of laughing, groaning and celebratory noise, that’s what happens. The “Clever Team Name” took first place and “The Moops” took second. REF thanks every Trivia Night contestant for attending.

There were four official alumni teams: Raytown South Class of 1971, Raytown High Classes of 1963 and 1970, and a bipartisan team from both schools, “The 80”s Ladies.” The trivia game included a special round of “Raytown Faces and Places” and “In the Aviary” naming the district’s bird mascots.

Hats off to the Trivia Night committee for organizing this long awaited event. A special thanks to Kent Friend and Amy Shunick at Saddle Creek and Vineyards for hosting the event at their cozy spot. And finally, thanks to Kevin Krumrey of Big 5 Trivia for expertly steering participants through the trivia rounds.
