The second evening of Remembering Lee’s Summit will be held Thursday, Jan. 9, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Bridge Space, 210 Market Street in downtown Lee’s Summit.
This event is hosted by the Lee’s Summit History Museum. Moderator Carl Chinnery will lead the discussion with tentatively scheduled storytellers Phyllis Balagna, Nancy Blackwell, Marlese Gourley and Ron Hartley. The storytellers will share their lifelong memories of Lee’s Summit.
Popcorn will be provided. Bring your choice of beverage and enjoy this informal evening Remembering Lee’s Summit. This is a free event, although donations are gladly accepted.
The History Museum is located at 220 SW Main Street in downtown Lee’s Summit. Regular museum hours are Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Members and children 12 and under are free to tour the museum. An admission charge of $5 for all others.
