On Sunday, September 10, 2023, Rev. Owen J. Gray was installed by Heartland Presbytery as the next pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Lee’s Summit.

Pastor Owen most recently served as Associate Pastor at St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church in Richardson, TX, and moved to Lee’s Summit in July. He and his wife, Grace, both grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School.

First Presbyterian Church has been a part of the Lee’s Summit community for more than 160 years, and the congregation is excited to enter a new season of ministry.
