4-Year-Old Boy Missing, Search Underway

On 08-30-2019, at about 2:52 a.m., Raytown Police received a call about a 4-year-old boy that was missing from a residence in the 8800 block of Richards Drive.

A family member discovered the boy missing and it appeared that he walked out of the house. The boy, a 4-year-old white male, was believed to have only been wearing a diaper. The boy, Joseph, who goes by “Joey,” is on the Autism spectrum.

He also has birthmarks on his right leg and stomach. Crews from area agencies, including search K9’s, are assisting with the search.
