Missouri State Representative Rebecca Roeber is in the hospital in serious condition after a car crash in mid-Missouri on Monday, Mar. 25.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Roeber crashed head-on with another driver Monday just after noon. The crash report said Roeber crossed the center line on Highway 50 West in the town of Syracuse and hit Richard Clark of Kansas City head-on.

Syracuse is in Morgan County, near the Lake of the Ozarks.

University Hospital officials on Monday night said Roeber was in serious condition.

Clark, according to the crash report, suffered minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
