Summit Christian Academy (SCA) recently held the annual spelling bee that included 52 second – eighth grade students.
The winners of the 5th-8th Grade Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Spell-Off Bee for SCA students were fifth grade student Sterling Brockhouse (first place), sixth grade student Eden Cervantes (second place), and eighth grade student Collin Boor (third place).
In addition, SCA fourth grade spelling bee winners were: Elliana Worth (first place), Luke Eagleburger (second place), and Iris Mills (third place). SCA third grade spelling bee winners were: Lexi De Jong (first place), Juliette Hatfield (second place), and Renley Van Maanen (third place). SCA second grade spelling bee winners were: Elijah Hammontree (first place), Lexi Pyltsov (second place), and Lily Hermida (third place).
