I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Lee’s Summit voters, for trusting me to represent you. Thank you to everyone who took the time to reach out to me to voice their concerns and to express their love for our city. Thank you to my volunteers, to the LSFFA, and to the LSPOA for the countless hours they spent helping me to get my message out to the voters. I could not have done any of this without you. Thank you to my family and friends. Your love and support got me through the tough days. Thank you, especially, to my husband who never wavered when things got tough and who, quite literally, did all of the heavy lifting.

Throughout my campaign, I met many amazing residents of District 1. I want you to know that I will strive to continue to build relationships and connections over the next four years. I do not take this duty lightly and am dedicated to serving you the best I can. I talk about how much I love Lee’s Summit all of the time because it’s true. I made a promise to be accessible and communicate well, and I intend on keeping that promise. So, please, if you ever have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me directly. I can’t promise to have all of the answers, but I can promise to listen and work to find solutions. Campaigning has taught me many lessons. Councils that have gone before this new council have worked hard and I’ve learned so much from them. I’m humbled the voters have trusted me enough to be a voice for them, and I’m excited to get to work for the citizens of Lee’s Summit!
